    Easy Pumpkin Loaf

For the upcoming Hallowe'en and/or upcoming American Thanksgiving I thought I would share a great recipe given to me by a very good friend. It's very easy to make and very tasty:

    Sift: 3 cups flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking soda
    3 tsp. cinnamon
Add: 2 cups golden yellow sugar and stir

Make a hole and add: 2 cups pumpkin
    1 1/4 cups salad oil
    4 beaten eggs
1/2 cup walnuts, raisons or dates
    Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees F.

What is golden yellow sugar? It sounds good.

It's almost like brown sugar, in the same area.

That loaf is really good and easy to make.

The looks as if it could be delicious Luba but I've no-one who would eat it these days :-)

Never did understand the fascination for all things Pumpkin as this is something we just haven't done much with in our location or even growing up

I don't care for pumpkin pie and could do without pumpkin loaf as well as we don't bake it here anymore either but it IS good!
