    9. I Ain't Never Gone To Bed With an Ugly Woman But I Woke Up With A Few

    8. If The Phone Don't Ring, You'll Know It's Me

And the Number One Country & Western song is...

    1. It's Hard To Kiss The Lips At Night That Chewed My A$$ all day!

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

True love is wanting to give to another person without any thought about
who’s getting the better of the deal.

Love always creates, it never destroys. In this lie's man's only promise

Okay, I am bumping this one up. I laughed after reading a few of them plus I am a country western music fan so this was extra funny to me.

I like country music too...sad that I can relate to most of those.

For a while my signature on another forum use to say "My life is like a country song."

Ha ha. Ya I think there are a lot of songs that describe my life. Maybe that is why I like country so much. My favorite artist is George Strait. Seen him in concert twice.

    My Favorite is:

Goin’ Through The Big D by Mark Chesnutt

Six short months we went together decided it should be forever
Two paychecks are better than one diamond ring and it was done
Bought her a house like I said I would in sub-divided neighborhood
The fuse got short and the nights got long it was over long gone
Before I knew where I was headed to

I'm goin' through the big D and don't mean Dallas
I can't believe what the judge had to tell us
I got the jeep, she got the palace
I'm goin' through the big D and don't mean Dallas

Things like this are never final I'm still payin' on the vinyl
Flooring in the laundry room it's multi-colored and waterproof
It's a little bit tough to face my friends the ones that said I jumped in
The river of love a little too soon that was August
This is June and it's a different tune

I'm goin' through the big D and don't mean Dallas
I can't believe what the judge had to tell us
I got the jeep, she got the palace
I'm goin' through the big D and don't mean Dallas

I'm goin' through the big D and don't mean Dallas
I can't believe what the judge had to tell us
I got the jeep, she got the two bedroom
Mortgage is due sliding light blue palace
I'm goin' through the big D and don't mean Dallas

I'm ashamed to say how many times I've blasted this song to vent some anger. Haha! Though they say that Oklahoma is the Divorce Capital of the World. This is our song.

Ivy - I hummed that one lots a few months ago.

Since we're bustin out the lyics....

"My Life's Been A Country Song" – Chris Cagle

Now I know how Merle Haggard felt when he sang the words mama tried
    And I've lived those teenage
Friday nights the pyrmid of cans in the pale moon light
And that Summer Becky broke my heart
    Alabama sang old flame burnin'
Well I've danced with George Strait
    Drank with George Jones
My life's been a country song.

It's all about fallin' down and gettin' back up
Your good times and hard luck
    True love and amazing grace
Workin' all week for a back ache
Raisin' caine, Friday nights, Sunday church to set it right
They can write it on my stone,
My life's been a country song.

Now I know how Paycheck felt when he told his boss he can take his job and shove it
And I've had the girl that made me say
'I like it, I love it, I want some more of it'
And I'll always remember just where I was when the world stopped turnin'
Through the good and the bad,
    The right and the wrong
My life's been a country song.

It's all about fallin' down and gettin' back up
Your good times and hard luck
    True love and amazing grace
Workin' all week for a back ache
Raisin' caine, Friday nights, Sunday church to set it right
They can write it on my stone
My life's been a country song.

It's been the words when I couldn't find 'em.
A friend when I've been alone.
It's been the toast to things to remember, the strength for movin on...

It's all about fallin' down and gettin' back up
Your good times and hard luck
    True love and amazing grace
Workin' all week for a back ache.
Raisin' caine, Friday nights, Sunday church to set it right.
They can write it on my stone
My life's been a country song.

Oh my life's been a country song

I don't think I have heard the Chris Cagle song. Will have to look that one up. I like the Mark Chesnutt one however.
