I want to say thanks again to everyone who helped me out on this thread, I feel like this all happened a life time ago but having a forum to talk it out was a monumental thing.

Things have. Not saying its been easy, and at least I still have feelings of resentment from time to time. There are definitely still times when I think it would have been easier to just end the relationship 5 years ago and moved on but I am generally very happy we are together.

It's not like another relationship wouldn't be hard/require work either.
