Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

The beauty of sunset and the clear sky, that tells me nothing beats every ordinary miracles that we missed to appreciate.

Writing music and short stories is my life. Yesterday, I joined a writing contest hosting by some dude in internet. I loss. I’m so depressed. I even thought of quit writing, instead focus on something I’m good about. But that’s when I see this image with a caption of “Dum Spiro Spero” on it. “While I breathe, I hope”. Guess that’s a sign from above to not quit things I love to do. Now, I understand the difference between doing something you are good at, and doing something you love.

While having my early morning quiet time with my coffee, looking out the window and seeing a young deer walk up the road. It felt like the deer and I were the only ones up in the neighbourhood.

OOOH how beautiful Luba. Nothing more magical than watching nature wake up.

We sometimes see deer in a far off field when travelling but we are lucky that there is a rich mix of birdlife in our area. I've seen some stunning herons, cranes as well as smaller colourful varieties.

Today my attention was drawn to an older couple in the supermarket, giggling like youngsters about something by the vegetable section. It was lovely to see.
