Unhappy I know school should be fun ... especially 8th grade

I'm 14, and I'm going back to school in 2 weeks... I really don't like school I don't really have bullying problems as much as other kids do, and I feel bad for them. But, like many other kids/teens, I just don't enjoy going to school..... I just needed to get this out to someone, and I feel like I am going to explode into tears!!!

    Hello Will,
It's so good to see you posting about your feelings! That is such a good thing to do, keep on doing it as bottling them up is just not good! Will, there is nothing wrong with having a good cry, it's really good for you no matter what anyone says. People aren't comfortable with other people crying that's why there are so many saying 'don't cry'. I'm a firm believer in tears as they really help to find peace, as on the other side of that,to have a good and hearty laugh.

Will, keep returning and posting all your feelings that you need to, and what is going on in your life. We will do our BEST with understanding, support, validation, and caring!
It's hard to go back to school especially if there isn't a huge amount of understanding and support in how you feel, and that most everyone has a hard time to give up summer holidays.

I will try to help by asking is there something you do like about school, like a favourite subject, teacher, or friends that you want to see again? We can pick something small at first for you to look forward to then maybe it won't be quite as hard to go back.

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

True love is wanting to give to another person without any thought about
