Re: Anyone else out there a Walking Dead fan?

My husband has been watching it and I've seen snippets here and there. I'm one of those people that needs to see something from the beginning and all the way through, or I just don't have the desire to watch. Asking my family what has transpired previously only annoys them.
Unfortunately, our Cable Channel upgraded to Digital and today we lose those extra channels that they 'enticed' us with for awhile. If we want to keep them, we must PAY!

I'm watching "Breaking Bad" all the way through and really enjoying that.
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

I was until Season 3 and I haven't been able to stomach an episode since.

They keep rotating writing staff so it's just too all over the place for me.

The Governor and Andria should have died in Episode 2 Season 3.

Now that Breaking Bad is done, GoT is the best show out right now! I'm still pissed about the Red Wedding ep!!

I still love TWD. The season premier had more gore than all previous seasons combined. At least Andrea is dead now, and Carl is staying put. For now.

I'm two weeks behind on SoA!! My god, how I love Jax Teller. Actually most of the shows you listed, Bridgie, are shows I'm addicted to. I wish I could be a professional television series watcher. LOLOLOL

    Great mind's think alike Ayla!

Breaking bad was awesome, just the right run of time as well. Unfortunately the writing seem's to go bad a few season's in on most show's but BB, kept us intrigued the whole time! I actually want to be Jessie for Halloween ...lol.....

Yeah the Red Wedding did'nt make me happy either! Ugh having withdraw's! Waiting for the day daenerys comes out on top!

Bridgie Jax! Ya know i had'nt read that 50 shades of gray but when i heard he was cast in it i was ready to buy a movie ticket, but now that he has backed out, i don't care about the book or movie, again. lol.

BB was the best series in a long time. I've thought about getting the contamination suit and gas mask to wear for Halloween! I don't know that taking my daughter trick or treating while wearing a costume in reference to drug making would be appropriate though!

I refuse to read those 50 Shades of Gray books. Once I found out they started as Twilight fan fiction any curiosity I had fell over stone cold dead at that moment. I must admit, when they said he was cast in it I did consider watching the movie too! I'm glad he backed out, I think he's too good an actor to be in what is basically going to be soft core porn for house wives.

Re: Anyone else out there a Walking Dead fan?

Lol, well i did'nt say i was gonna take my daughter trick or treating as Jessie Pinkman either, but i did want to go to a grown up party or costume contest. I probably won't but the idea is there.... lol

Yea, i just am not interested. I think it is probably better for him he backed out. But i did hear that Eric from True Blood might take the role, and that i think would work out. I did love True Blood but the writing went south and the books were so much better i think.

I have a love/hate relationship with True Blood. It has it's moments, but they're becoming increasingly sparse. Eric makes it worth watching. Oh the things I could do to that man!! I've only read the first book, and it was great. I want to read the rest as soon as I make some time.

Re: Anyone else out there a Walking Dead fan?

Yeah i've gone love/hate as well. I did'nt care much for Eric in the beginning but somewhere he grew on me, lol. The show started off really strong, but it went way off course. The books are worth the read, i read like 6 or 7 of them. Charlaine Harris is a good writer. I don't know why they did'nt stick to her story but then if they did Lafayette would'nt be around and i really do dig his character!

I didn't like Eric in the first season either. Then, he cut his hair. Lafayette is definitely one of the very best characters on that show! I was so freaking mad when they killed off his lover.

Have you ever watched Being Human on SyFy? It's got a lot lower budget than True Blood, but the writing is much better!

Yes now that you mention it was after the haircut, lol, but no he is a good actor. I Lafayette, They should have a show about his life!

No i have not seen Being Human, maybe i will have to check it out.

You do know they are making a spin off from BB with Saul right? I can't wait for that, it should be entertaining! Better call Saul!

You should definitely check it out, I didn't think I'd like it but a friend of mine was so insistent that I gave in and got hooked! LOL

I did read that! I hope it's as well written and well executed as BB was. Anything less will be disappointing. I also read they're making a Walking Dead spinoff. It's to take place in the same time frame just in a different location in the country. Rumored to be set in the Western US somewhere.
