Happy Musical Jukebox : Songs from the past

As Luba and I have found a commonality with music I thought I would start a thread about all those songs that we recall from our childhood. No matter which part of the world you come from there are tons of musical influences out there. So what are yours?

Here is my first one - a tea time favourite show resulted in this well known song to those of my generation

Another great thread, Rosie, researching songs and taking me back in memory. This song immediately came to mind as one of my Mom's and my favourite. We both just loved Doris Day and I will forever think of her as one of the greatest actresses.

I Loved Disco and I'm happy to admit it!

LOVE the posted song which leads me to one of my favourite movies as well as a BIG FAN of the Bee Gees:

I remember how I felt how I even felt through the credits through this wonderful movie which I went to see by myself. What a great memory!

Due to copyright issues, the video before the last one couldn't be played in our country. Enjoyed the all-music one.

Buddy Holly was a favourite to listen to and so tragic when he died in a plane accident.

Isn't it fun TKlady to relive music of our past. I only have to listen to certain songs and I'm back there, back in that moment when I first heard it.

Like this next one reminds me of a very hot summer, driving to the coast with a friend, sitting on a wall trying to shade from the sun un-successfully. Watching fishing boats going out with families all happy and smiling and watching them return with parents with green faces and children screaming for ice cream or candy floss.
