An Affair To Remember - Movie

I LOVE old movies when they were so innocent and pure even with a name like that movie has. It was all done with such taste and class starring the handsome Cary Grant and the lovely Deborah Kerr.

You really will have to stop this Luba - I have just downloaded that as one to watch whilst I am away on hols

After a day of walking and exploring with the puppies it's nice to chill by watching a movie and this is on my list, along with The Slipper & The Rose, The Railway Man, Into the Woods and the latest Cinderella ..... yes, I know, I love soppy romantic movies as well as biographical & historical ones too. Keeps the mind working

Cary Grant - well - North by Northwest is also good
Deborah Kerr - This one and the Quiet Man with John Wayne - love her.

"Double Indemnity" with Barbara Stanwyck (Love her) and Fred MacMurray (love him).
Bette Davis in "Jezebel" or "Dark Victory" (this latter one makes me cry just thinking about it and I haven't seen it in years).

SO many Great Classics, for sure!

I love soppy romantic movies, too, so Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock in "The Proposal". I think they are great, too.

Bette Davis, wonderful actress. Loved Jezabel!

Have you seen her with Charles Boyer in "All this and Heaven too" or "The private lives of Elizabeth & Essex" with Errol Flynn

Too many classics and so little time to watch them

I know I saw that one but don't remember much about it. I just know if Bette Davis was in it, then it was very good!

I don't know how people watch movies.

I can play chess for hours straight. But sitting still for 2 hours to watch a movie? That is really testing my patience.
