Just curious, we can move it to politics after the election or we can split the topic and continue it in the politics section. ;-)

It will all come down to which one carries Florida and Ohio. Even if you win a majority vote....it will still be determined by our electoral vote. Both of those states are still in the 'undecided' and carry very large electoral votes based on the large population of those states. .

Florida has 24...Ohio probably has the same. A winner only needs 276 electoral votes....so you see the situation!!!

I WILL predict this. Watch your news in the days to come. The Democrats will do EVERYTHING in their power to throw out the military absentee votes just like they did last time and less than 50% ended up being counted. Already in one state they are claiming the ballots weren't all 'sealed' correctly! GOOD GOD...they are being sent in bulk from Iraq! Maybe due to the humidity they unsealed while in a truck.

THAT makes me mad. If ANYONE should have a voice it should be them!

I already got one email from someone in the military who is having problems with his absentee vote.

When you lose an election and all else fails, claim the vote is rigged.

Don't worry Merika, I'm sure the vote is rigged. The candidates were too close for it to be an honest race.

It seems to be going very well....as far as the fairness and without incident. I'm a nervous wreck though!!

I don't think anyone other than Stoneheather is watching...but just in case....here's a computer link I'm using. (You have to refresh often)

We'll see how fair it is after the dust settles. It's the election fallout I'm interested in seeing.

Me too! I'm taping the Kerry concedes speech so I can save it as one of my life's 'HAPPY MOMENTS'!

I didn't dislike everything he said. I just really disliked HIM because he's been a traitor to the United States since 1973.

Apparently the majority of American doesn't agree with you Mondo. LOL!

I'm sure Kerry's speech will be online before the day is over. I'll make sure and post a link.

I really do understand that many international people have a negative opinion of President Bush due to what they hear and their personal convictions.

NOTE: I moved this to Political since the election is over and people can feel more free to say what they want to.

the american people chose Bush TWICE and everyone is crying that it's not fair, why can't some people just lose with some grace. I had a woman in my office practically crying because Kerry lost  WE should all support our president no matter what party they are with Bush is the president for the next 4 years and the american people should support our leader.

    elections should not divide us

As long as there are issues at hand which people are NOT going to compromise on....there will be a division.

We've got the war in Iraq, abortion and gay rights. There is no way ANY president is going to pull that together and make everyone happy. If I were the President, other than the war (which I would EXPLAIN a little better to the public for those who don't understand), I would throw abortion and gay rights back to the individual states.

I was acutally shocked at the high votes against the individual state's Gay Right Ammendments. Ofcourse, why would a gay person want to live in Alabama anyway.....haha!

Mondo.....I know you don't like FOX....I'll check to see if it is also somewhere else. For now though:

    http://www.foxnews.com/

On the right top...you'll see the link to begin the Kerry video.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------

Duke....If Bush was really some bad guy....do you really think he would've won with more votes than anyone else has ever had? Sure, more people voted....but those who usually DON'T vote DID because it was important to them to keep Bush in office.

He carried the young vote, cuban vote, catholic vote, church vote, business vote, senior citizens and everyone in between. He did LOUSY in the debates....people like Michael Moore made lying commercials and films about him....the media was merciless and twisted every truth. Still though, the majority of Americans saw thru the crap and knew the truth.

You guys don't like him because of the media you listen to. I really believe that to be true. Actually, he's a great President and a great guy.
