Ever wake up in the 80's?

    "Hear the children
    Don't turn around, oh oh
Der Kommissar's in town, oh oh
    He's got the power
    And you're so weak
And your frustration will not let you speak

    Don't turn around, oh oh
Der Kommissar's in town, oh oh
And if he talks to you
    Then you'll know why
    The more you live
    The faster you will die"

I woke up with that going through my head, now you can all feel my pain.

BTW Duke - if you have any meetings today you WILL have that running through your head and you will curse me - it's not a curse, it's just the way life is.

What happened between 1980 and Sept 19, 1984?

Oh nevermind.....that probably means you weren't born yet.....in which, once again, I'm reminded I'm older than dirt!

I personally hope that the fashion, the hair, the music, and the cars from that era stay where they belong...IN THE 80'S. I shudder at the thought of crimped hair, big bangs, and pink and blue eye shadow.

Now the 90's...that was a decade to remember!

I agree, the 80's belongs in the 80's, however, it's still fun to watch movies like "A Night at the Roxbury" and "The Wedding Singer" just to remind you how foolish we all looked.

I wonder if we'll look back on the 90's and 00's and wonder.

Could have been worse, you could have woke up singing Culture Club or something. karma.. karma... karma... Chameleon lalalalala.

I prefer that song, Electric Avenue by Eddie Grant, cool song. I often think of that song as being the begining of the 80's. Everytime i hear that motorcycle at the begining of the song i wana get up and dance.

I loved the 80's, i was just a kid but it was by far the best times of my life!!!

Luba, you need to post pictures of Duke with long hair. I have only seen the ones of him with short hair.
