Cursing our luck. Due to general incompetence, we're stuck without WATER for three days. Hopefully it will get fixed tomorrow.

OOh no..... I did wonder why you were a bit quiet . So, were you trying to do some DIY and found the waterpipe was 2cm closer than you thought hmmmm

Seriously though, hope you get it sorted soon and that you're keeping well.

They decided to disconnect us, because the landlord had not paid the bill. Mind you, it is the bill for October, that was probably sent to the landlord a week ago.

I hope the water is back on, Vautrin, one doesn't think much about how fortunate we are to have it until something like this happens.

As for camping we always walk down to the Provincial Park tape to get our water for camping, Rosie, gives me more exercise to take my kettle and walk down. My husband usually fills the heavier containers as he has more muscles.

That sounds like a decent option, until you realize that there are tons of safety issues .

I tinkered with my 1969 Chevrolet Nova a little bit this afternoon, header leak and found the driver's side header gasket was blown out.Plus went over to a neighbor's house to diagnose a no start with a loader of his. This neighbor was glad it was a simple fix, forgot to hook up a ground cable.

Danielle, I love to read your posts and the work you do on vehicles, you are a very inspiring woman as some of us (like me) are confused when someone opens up the hood of the vehicle. GOOD for you, girl!

This neighbor installed the starter himself and thought he had everything connected. This neighbor of mine tears down houses and buildings for a living and down time costs him money.Said I am doing his repair work now.I found a black spot on the cylinder head of my Nova which pointed to the header gasket blown out.

Thinking of going downtown this morning and watching Christmas shoppers. Hoping to see a lot of cheer on people's faces.

Whosh ...... my weekend is flying by now we have a houseful of youngsters
They have already started with their competitive banter and great need for food - anyone would think they had never eaten LOL.

Having a peaceful one! We went downtown and I chatted with a couple of people I know. Visited a young woman who I have known since a young child and is like a daughter to me, that was GREAT!

Watching some Golf and hoping for a Rickie Fowler win; however, whoever does win deserves to.

My husband and I completed a quite difficult jigsaw puzzle last night which was composed mostly of oranges and browns; an autumn scene.

Today will be watching some Golf and maybe some reading.

Prep for Spring cleaning now that the sun is shining through my dirty windows LOL.

I currently have 3 very clear paw prints showing on one of the patio windows.

My Spring cleaning started early because it's so sporadic and done when I have loads of energy and not thinking of doing something else. It may take until next Spring the way I'm going! Maybe even 2020!

LOVE your sense of humour, Rosie! That being said, it is difficult getting all that hair cleaned up.

Well they definitely leave their imprints all over the house for sure. I have a sign that says "Home is where the dog hairs stick to everything except the dog" ............ so true.

Well this weekend we're planning a long walk with them and once we are home all 3 are going to be showered! Now that's going to be fun. Will let you know how it goes.

Quiet, introspective morning yesterday followed by some jigsaw work, but mostly reading all of Stephen King's "The Dark Half", having read it years earlier.

Today a bit of jigsaw puzzle, exercise, and some computer time.
