Went to dinner with a great friend! I LOVE it that we can talk about anything, our innermost thoughts and there are absolutely no judgments!

Had breakfast and a long walk with a friend from out of town....it already has brought me joy that we've never lost our momentum since she moved away two years ago.

Those things would bring me joy as well. Always good to spend time with good friends.

So paintball went okay then? The poison oak or whatever didn't affect anything? Good!!

    Duke is just jealous.

Hearing that some pictures (old high school and college pics) I sent to a special friend made his day. He knows how to put a smile on my face.

My first time reading an Ian Rankin book this weekend; great suspense and very well-written. I was up at 2:00 a.m. reading so I could finish it this weekend!

Re: What brought you joy today?

Even though my stomach was doing flip-flops when I had to go talk with a higher up who is considered a hard-nose, about an aspect of my job yesterday, I was very proud of the gentle way I was able to handle it and he even at one point said that "he always had time for me" when I asked him if I could take time to talk to him. I guess the lesson learned is not to take other people's views on others; and just handle a situation calmly and gently!

I wasn't feeling well at all, actually thought I was going to pass out on my walk to the bus this morning. I returned home and my husband gave me a ride to work after telling me I was silly for going in at all....but I made it through the entire day!

That's easy to do when you are a piece of furniture at work

I am sorry you were feeling bad Luba. Why didn't you just take the day and relax? I would have. But then I hate my job so it would have been an easy decision. Hope you are feeling better now.
