    Re: The Big Talk

Overall, it really got me thinking.... (I know this is an old post but, I'm just now finding it.)

My kids are 11 & 9 now and this topic is something I've been dreading but reading this made me realize I really need to step it up and start these "little talks" ASAP!

    Re: The Big Talk

I knew I'd dread talking to my daughter about sex when the time came so instead of putting it off, I took every opportunity to confront it head on. Now that she's 15, I can talk openly with her about virtually every aspect of sex and not worry about either of us coming away feeling embarrassed.

If its the one suggestion I can make to parents is start talking to kids as soon as possible. I don't think there is such a thing as too early but there certainly is such a thing as too late.
lol did I miss something in my editing process

Well I think I fixed it up my friend but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Incidentally, I do know how to use these words properly. The problem in most cases is that I type faster than I think and spell check just isn't good enough at catching these misses.

heh.. just giving ya a hard time. I had an English teacher back in 8th grade that drilled these things, and a few others, into my head and they've just always stayed there.

Actually I'm glad you pointed it out because its forced me to go over some of the old articles and clean them up as well. Of course now I'm pretty much re-writing half the articles so I'm not sure whether or not to be happy about it
