You mean Favre first says nah he will retire leaving poor old Minnesota with crappy QBs then DECIDES HE WILL play...leaving them with a turnover machine?

Like the guy, but his best is way past him and this will NOT help Minny in any way.

the thing is vikings are a running team, so he wont make a difference, but signing with the packers rival is pretty low. plus he waited til after training camp, so he is out of shape and obviously just cares about himself, but i wouldnt be surprised if the football gods put him on IR in preseason, just like they let the giants beat the pats and took out brady the next year.

    Brett Favre

Favre, who is expected to play one series against Kansas City in Friday night's preseason game at the Metrodome, will experience the odd sensation of being cheered in a building in which many fans couldn't stand him for his 16 seasons (1992 to 2007) as a member of the arch-rival Green Bay Packers.
Watched the Philadelphia/Indianapolis game last night and wanted to see this one, too. The televised game in our area will be Tennessee vs. Dallas. I would rather have liked to see how Brett does.

    Re: Forever farve!!!!!!

I am a Chicago Bears fan, I used to like Farve when he was with the packers. But since he retired and gone to Jets, now vikings, I have lost all respect for him.
I thought he was a classy player and would retire as a packer. With so much dedication for his team, I thought he would never do it.
He should of left on that high note and enjoy his retirement.
